Target announced today that it plans to test Apple mini-stores in a few dozen of its locations later this year. This will expand Apple’s current partnership with Target as Target currently sells only iOS devices.
“We will have 25 stores with a unique display and assortment [of Apple products],” Target spokeswoman Dustee Jenkins told MarketWatch.
This deal is similar to Apple’s strategy within Best Buy stores that debuted in 2007. Today, 700 Best Buy stores across the United States feature an mini Apple store within their retail locations.
