Our GameSalad proprietary platform has been used by over 900,000 users in 189 countries, and is in over 200 middle schools, high schools, and universities around the world and growing. 


About the Opportunity:


We need to accelerate closing business. Selected candidate will:

  • Perform light prospecting through phone and email to reach out to potential customers, and set up meetings with sales staff
  • Engage on the phone and email for follow ups to potential customers, who require additional information and/or meetings with sales staff
  • Develop lead lists and market research for potential new customers
  • Gather and provide marketing materials to sales staff
  • Setup meetings for sales / executive staff
  • Location: Austin TX / Cleveland OH

About You:

We want somebody who:

  • Has 3 years minimum experience in a sales support role
  • Has a successful track record of delivering results
  • Is comfortable with talking with potential customers on the phone
  • Is proficient with google products, like google calendar, docs, sheets, and slides.
  • Is a quick study and can easily adapt to different technologies, new product and company process.
  • Can listen to the customer’s needs for new features and fixes and report back to the team.
  • Is ethical, can represent the company well, and is fun to be around.
  • Can hit the ground running. We are a startup with untapped potential.
  • Strong written and verbal skills required.
  • BS/BA Degree preferred

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial leader to serve as Head of Curriculum to help us develop our next generation of Curriculum and strategy, in a high energy, growth startup environment.

  • Chart a vision and course for Computer Science development that will impact K-12 students all over the country and the world.
  • Innovate and create solutions for Computer Science instruction along an evolving pathway that is unique and effective for K-12 students.
  • Lead a growing team of curriculum experts to deliver excellent product.
  • Partner with customers, sales team, engineering team, product team, and other stakeholders to help define and develop our next generation of GameSalad CS Curriculum for Teachers and Students.
  • Participate in company strategic planning and direction.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Successfully developed curriculum being used in K-12 schools
  • Computer Science degree and have used it professionally
  • Minimum 10 years work experience, and 3+ years of Education Experience
  • Previous technology start-up experience
  • Collaborative Leadership Characteristics, Superior Communication Skills, and Executive Presence
  • Highly self-motivated with an appetite for a startup environment that is evolving rapidly
  • Has a successful track record of leading a team and delivering results
  • Must be creative, passionate, and ethical

  • Analyze sales statistics to identify areas of improvement
  • Track results and trends regularly for business forecasting
  • Report on team and individual performance
  • Develop and execute innovative sales strategies
  • Build and form new partnerships with districts all across the US
  • Responsible for metrics, sales reporting, and sales forecasting.
  • Must be a player and coach.

We want somebody who:

  • Has 15+ years experience in sales management, and the ability to manage the team and process of heavy sales growth.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Can successfully recruit and grow a sales organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales plans.
  • Proven success in recruiting, leading, motivating and retaining a high performance sales team.
