The Software Programmer we are looking for has experience making professional applications big and small, and has filled a variety of roles on previous teams. This programmer will ideally have strong Objective-C programming skills and will be responsible for proposing, developing, and debugging code, as well as working closely with design staff and other engineers to enhance and extend the GameSalad Creator.
Responsibilities:GameSalad, Inc. is seeking to hire a full time Web Application Developer to assist the shaping and creation of GameSalad’s presence on the web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will have a extensive experience in developing scalable transactional systems and can think outside the box. Thinking inside very large boxes is also acceptable. (S)he must be a self-starter that keeps up-to-date with the latest web technologies (HTML5, SproutCore, NoSQL).
Responsibilities:We’re looking for QA Analysts who are diligent, detail-oriented, have extensive experience in quality assurance procedures and LOVE breaking software. Since you will be collaborating directly with the engineering team you’ve got to be organized and a strong communicator. Your main responsibilities will include developing testing procedures, writing automated test scripts, carrying out manual and automated QA tests on GameSalad products to produce the best possible experience for our customers. We would love it if you are a current GameSalad user!
Responsibilities:
• Find and document potential problems and provide test cases
• Write repeatable manual and automated test scripts for web and application software products
• Work with software developers to write thorough bug reports.
• Verify the successful implementation of new features and bug fixes.
• Review the current policies and improvise plans to improve upon the existing quality standards, determining and documenting any areas that may need improvement
• Review and analyze the effectiveness of the modifications made
• Educate the sales and marketing departments regarding new product features and potential problems
• Be available for on-call support duties when releases go out
• Apply working knowledge of GameSalad to assist customers
Requirements:
• 3+ years in application testing experience and web testing experience
• BS/BA in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience
• Effective communication and technical/report writing skills
• Strong experience with Software Quality Assurance methodologies & practices
• Experience with stress/load/performance/integration/regression testing
• Ability to investigate and debug difficult problems with creative thinking
• Experience with automation test tools and frameworks on Mac OS X
• Experience with scripting; AppleScript a plus
• Familiarity with Apple Human Interface Guidelines is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus
• Must be able to work independently and should be proactive
• Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced and informal environment
• An obsessive passion to deliver emotionally satisfying user experiences
