Building games with GameSalad encourages student creativity! Students start out by building games following step-by-step tutorials, but can then modify or “mod” these games, allowing for individual student expression! Check out these student “mods”

Monster Maze

A basic Pac-Man / Adventure style game. Navigate the maze, grab the candy, get to the finish line. But in students hands, we get dungeons, mine, soups, and hidden walls!

Fruit Fall

Fruit is falling from the sky! Collect it, but don’t catch any animals. In the hands of students we can collect fruit for grandma’s recipes, build burgers, or save the world from a doodle cat!

Student Challenge Winners

Every year GameSalad host the GameSalad Student Game Creation Challenge. Students compete to create the best game in their category. Maybe your students will join the ranks of students meeting the challenge!
