This time of year during the Harvest Moon east asian countries celebrates the mid-autumn festival. Growing up this was not a big holiday for our family because the Vietnamese community in Houston was still establishing itself. I attended one celebration at our local buddhist temple and my mom told about how children would create paper lanterns and parade them around during the festival. One tradition we did do regularly this time of year was the exchange of moon cakes!
To celebrate this year, I whipped out GameSalad’s new Bowlbot, our AI creation agent! Combining some elements from the holiday I though, maybe a parade of lanterns collecting mooncakes! Which sounds a lot like “Snake!”
“Build Me Snake”. A few turns later we had a working snake game! I then hit a few stock sites to grab some lanterns and moon cakes. But when I updated the tail with lanterns, I forgot the update the head of the snake. Well, a theme that kept coming up in my image hunting was a rabbits, so let’s have a rabbit lead the parade!
